Battle aliens in this isometric shooter.
This game has a nice feel to it. The music works and who doesn't love killing aliens?
The problems come with the controls. First you can't map the keys, so you are stuck with their defaults. Next, with just using the keyboard and the mouse navigation take a bit of getting used to and for me never felt natural. I kept smashing into something then work my way down as I worked backwards shooting baddies.
There is also little feedback to the user. Running over ammo you are on full on will just not allow you to pick it up with no indication your ammo is full.
The enemies aren't the brightest, but no problem, they flood you with them. And in this kind of game, killing millions of aliens is much more satisfying then killing 2 or 3 really smart aliens.
Overall it is more fun that not and the full game has manned turrets which should be a blast.
