The Blip website was launched in April 1997 by three experienced multimedia developers who foresaw the web's potential for online games and entertainment. The Blip has proved to be a popular destination for surfers seeking original content with a funny, edgy, irreverent tone. A dedicated core of users have frequented the Blip's Radar Lounge chat room and game lobby since its inception in 1997, and it now boats over 20,000 registered users — though of course unregistered guests are always welcome to play.
In addition, Blip Amalgamated Internet Pleasureworks provides development services to clients, including Shockwave design and programming, PalmOS, and cellular telephony applications. Our specialties include online entertainment, multiplayer games and web-based chat rooms.
The Blip is based in Los Angeles and New Orleans.
